These groups are designed for people ages 16 and up who are diagnosed with OCD and managing their OCD symptoms. These groups will focus both on different strategies for symptom management, as well as various topics specific to having OCD. These groups are semi-closed, meaning that group members can only enter the group the first week of each month and must commit to a month of attendance at a time. They are mostly supportive in nature and different topics presented are derived organically from the issues identified by group members. Depending on where you are at in your course of treatment for OCD, you may be required to also have an individual therapist (they do not have to be at our practice). Insurance will be billed for those with in-network insurance, and for those that don’t have insurance or are out of network, fees will be assessed according to financial ability. Please email us at intake@belmontdac.com in order to gain more information about groups being offered and payment.
